- Dark chocolate covered pretzels
- Fresh raspberries
- Fresh blackberries
- Cheddar cubes
- Pistachios
- Pumpkin seeds
- Red grapes
- Spicy cheese wedges (I used Laughing Cow)
- Salami
- Black forest ham

How to Make a Halloween Charcuterie Board
Step 1. First, add some pumpkin seeds and pistachios to small bowls and place them on the serving board.
Step 2. Fold your salami pieces in half and roll up until you have a rose shape. It will take about 6-8 pieces for each rose. Repeat this until you have used it all.
Step 3. Take the black forest ham pieces and fold in half then like an accordion. Place three accordion-folded pieces on a toothpick, then repeat this step with the rest of the ham.

Step 4. For your mummy cheese ball, rip off pieces of the string cheese and lay over the top of the cheeseball like mummy wraps. Then, add two candy eyeballs.
Step 5. Next, place your salami roses and folded ham on the board. Place the mummy cheese ball next to the salami roses.
Step 6. Add the brie wheel, using a pumpkin cookie cutter to make a pumpkin shape in the center.

Step 7. Next, add red grapes, raspberries, and blackberries to the board.
Step 8. Add the cheese cubes, then the dark chocolate pretzels and green olives.

Step 9. Add the cutie oranges, then fill in the empty spaces with your favorite crackers.
Step 10. Place cheese wedges around the board, adding two candy eyes on top of each one.

Step 11. Finally, fill the pumpkin shaped center of the brie wheel with orange marmalade. Then, use pumpkin seeds to make the eyes, nose, and mouth.
Step 12. Add fresh dill for garnish and enjoy!

Want to make your board extra festive? Add Halloween decorations like skeleton hands, pumpkins and spiderwebs. That’s it…now you’ve got an amazing board that your guests are going to absolutely love! Serve and enjoy!

How To Store Leftovers
Cover the board with plastic wrap, then chill in the refrigerator. To help keep the crackers fresh and crispy, store them separately in a Ziploc bag.

Top Tips for the Best Halloween Cheese Board
- For the board: We used this 17.6″ gold tray from Target but you can use any large round cutting board or serving tray.
- Test run: To make sure your board is big enough, lay out all the ingredients beside the board then imagine them filled in around it.
- Use a parchment liner: Lining the board helps with easy cleanup and prevents any direct contact between the food and the board.
- Add fun details: If you want to add a few sweets, fill in some of the extra space with Halloween themed treats, like mini pumpkin candy corn or gummy worms.
- For the tools: To make serving easier during your Halloween party, add small tongs, forks, and party picks around the board. You’ll also want to have some small plates on hand so guests can serve themselves.

Variations and Add-ins
- Cheese shapes: Use small cookie cutters to cut fun shapes with your cheese. Cut white cheese slices to make little ghosts or orange cheese to make mini pumpkins.
- Other fruit: Feel free to add halved strawberries, blackberries or blueberries.
- Nuts: Instead of pistachios, you can add your own favorite nuts.
- Dips: Sometimes I love to add a small bowl of Creamy Veggie Dip, pumpkin hummus or Corn Dip to my charcuterie boards.
- Veggies: You can’t go wrong adding some baby carrots or sliced cucumbers for more healthy options.
- Other meats: You can easily substitute the meats with turkey slices, pepperoni or any other type you prefer.

FAQs
Of course…this board works for any occasion! To remove the Halloween theme, just leave off the candy eyes, string cheese and the jack-o-lantern cut out on the brie wheel.
You should plan to have about 4-6 ounces of food per person. This should include a mix of cheese, meats, fruits, and snacks. You can adjust quantities based on the number of guests and whether the board will be served with other appetizers.
You can, but I prefer to wait until an hour or two before the party starts. This way all the ingredients are fresh and the flavors haven’t started blending together.
However, you can prep the ingredients ahead of time. Make your mummy cheese ball, meat roses and brie wheel ahead of time. You an also pre-cut your cheeses, place seeds or nuts in bowls and peel your oranges. That way, when you’re ready to put it together, all you have to do is add your ingredients to the board.
