I love decorating for the holidays and while I usually go all with my Christmas decorations, this is the first year that I’ve done more than throw a couple pumpkins and a pot of flowers on my porch. Okay, sometimes I do add a scarecrow but I’ve got to step it up. My neighbors go all out with their Halloween decorations and my kids have been insisting that we do more this year. I’m totally on board but I draw the line at carving pumpkins.
Here’s the thing. I really enjoy having all ten fingers and if I attempted to carve a pumpkin, I’m not sure how many I’d have left when I was done. Just cutting a butternut squash for last year’s Thanksgiving dinner almost did me in. I’m all about the no carve pumpkins. Even the kids can help make them, since it doesn’t involve any cutting. I’d like for them to keep all ten fingers too!
I already have some ideas of my own but I’ve found more inspiration on, what else, Pinterest! I’m pretty sure that once my girls see these princess pumpkins that we’ll be heading to Michael’s immediately for blue paint and sparkly gems! There are so many cute ideas to choose from. Check them out and pick your own favorites…
